L.I.F.E. Group: Living in Fellowship & Encouragement

The L.I.F.E. Ministry at Woodland Hills Church of Christ exists to provide compassionate support, spiritual encouragement, and practical assistance to our senior members, including widows and widowers. We believe our older members are vital to the church family and deserve to be valued, connected, and cared for in meaningful ways.

What We Do

Through social events, service projects, and spiritual enrichment, the L.I.F.E. group cultivates a culture of connection and encouragement. We aim to build friendships, meet practical needs, and deepen the faith of everyone involved.

Key Ministry Elements:

  • Quarterly Events Calendar
Regular gatherings for fellowship, devotionals, and fun (zoo outings, potlucks, concerts, and more).

  • Care & Assistance System
Volunteer-based help with transportation, home tasks, tech support, and more.

  • Tuesday Morning Bible Class
A time of study, sharing, and encouragement open to all seniors (restarting soon—stay tuned!).

  • Visitation & Encouragement Team
Cards, calls, and visits to support those who are homebound or in assisted living.

Get Involved

Whether you’re a senior looking to connect or a church member who wants to serve, there’s a place for you in L.I.F.E. We welcome ideas, volunteers, and fellowship.

“Gray hair is a crown of glory; it is gained in a righteous life.”
Proverbs 16:31
